About the site
SMILE.Syndrome was made entirely spontaneously on July 14, 2009. S.S is a small tribute to the Japanese actor Yamamoto Yusuke, a talented young man first recognized for his role as Kayashima Taiki from the ever popular Hanazakari no Kimitachi E. Since this role, he has become more recognized for his talents and has been cast for many supporting roles (though they seem to get more important with each new role). And now, because of his great acting and rising popularity, Yusuke is now cast for several leading characters.
The origins of the title "SMILE.Syndrome" come quite clearly from Yamamoto Yusuke's enormous and brilliant smile that he is not afraid to show. He seems like a genuine fun-loving young adult who constantly smiles, so I made my lame website title because of that :P
